Joe Tracy at the Long Island Automotive Museum in Southampton
While in his late 70s and early 80s, veteran Vanderbilt Cup Race driver Joe Tracy worked for Henry Austin Clark, Jr. at the Long Island Automotive Museum. Thanks to Walter McCarthy, several images and a video of Tracy at the museum have survived.

Henry Austin Clark, Jr.‘s 1974 Photos of the Alco Black Beast
Seeking material for the Long Island Automotive Museum's postcard series, Henry Austin Clark, Jr. visited collector Joel E. Finn (1938-2017) at his Ridgefield, Connecticut home. Among the 1974 images captured by Clark were these photos of the Alco Black Beast, which was then owned by Joel.

Exclusive: The 1954 Opening of Henry Austin Clark, Jr.‘s “Carnival of Cars” in Times Square
On July 15, 1954, Henry Austin Clark, Jr. and investor Robert W. Dowling opened the "Carnival of Cars" museum in the basement of the Astor Theater in Times Square. The grand media opening event with early television celebrities was captured by Bob Grier.

The 1912 Moon Raceabout Owned by Henry Austin Clark Jr is heading to Pebble Beach (Updated: 7/19/16)
A rare 1912 Moon Model 30 Gentleman's Speedster, one of Henry Austin Clark Jr.'s favorite automobiles in his collection, will be shown at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Leland Powels, the current owner of the Moon, and his wife Marissa are looking for any photos, stories and documentation of this 1912 Moon.

A Very Special Hamptons Evening and Tribute to Henry Austin Clark, Jr.
Over 100 people came out to pay tribute to Henry Austin Clark, Jr. and the Long Island Automotive Museum last Thursday in Southampton. The capacity crowd included members of the Clark family, friends, former museum employees and fans of Long Island automobile history.
